Tell Congress to stand against accelerating the expansion of LNG exports
We've known for decades that addressing the core of the climate crisis hinges on our transition away from dirty fossil fuels, including liquified "natural" gas (LNG).
That's why the Biden-Harris administration's historic decision to pause approvals for proposed LNG export projects was a vital step towards protecting the climate and those most impacted by pollution—like the Black, Brown, Indigenous, and low-income communities where these polluting facilities are often built.
As part of the LNG pause, the Department of Energy (DOE) will review the environmental and economic analysis that informs the agency’s decision-making process for approving new LNG exports. But in the meantime, GOP members of Congress are doing everything they can to derail DOE's review—and instead, rush through new LNG facilities.
Tell your members of Congress that you oppose any measures that would accelerate the expansion of LNG and you support continued action to end the era of fossil fuels.
