Tell Congress to Defend Our Climate

We must stand up against big polluters and their allies working tirelessly to dismantle significant climate progress.

Sign our petition to Congress now.

Dear Member of Congress,

Under the bold leadership of the Biden Administration, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and every Member of Congress who led the fight to pass the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA)–the largest climate investment in American history–we have made significant progress on climate. This includes stronger standards that will reduce harmful pollution driving climate change, including pollution from power plants, vehicles, and soot sources.

But this progress is under attack.

Big polluters and businesses, including the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM), the US Chamber of Commerce, Edison Electric Institute (EEI), and their polluter allies in Congress, are working tirelessly to dismantle this progress. Under Republican leadership, the House has voted 31 times to repeal or cut the Inflation Reduction Act, which includes the largest climate investments in American history. They have also threatened to slash climate-smart agriculture investments in the Farm Bill, and have attempted to use the Congressional Review Act (CRA) to overturn EPA protections and other important standards from across the Administration that limit pollution, clean up our air, and improve our health.

We must stand up to defend our climate.

That's why we're calling on you, our leaders in Congress, to stand up to attacks by big polluters and their allies. Please Defend Our Climate by:

  • Blocking efforts to roll back investments in our communities and in clean energy jobs passed under the Inflation Reduction Act

  • Opposing CRAs that aim to repeal limits on pollutants from power plants, cars, trucks, and harmful sources

  • Protecting the climate-smart ag investments in the Farm Bill

  • Saying NO to efforts to cut critical funding to combat climate change in the federal budget

We need you to Defend Our Climate.

Sincerely,
